Two drastically different new years. John leaving the Chili Peppers nearly describes the difference between a year ago from last night, and last night. It is brilliant being where I am, "nowhere man." It feels like it used to, never knowing what is going to happen next. Yet, I still struggle to plan, inevitable yes. Ciao 2009, you've been good to me. Year personified.
